Sustaining Human Innovation

A campaign for UW-Eau Claire's Future

This campaign will sustain the distinctive margin of excellence for which UWEC is known.” - Chancellor James Schmidt

The Sustaining Human Innovation Campaign is a fundraising campaign that will ensure the unwavering commitment to educational excellence at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. A primary focus of the campaign is the expansion of endowment funds. Because endowment funds are a type of investment fund that stay invested forever, the earned interest is available to finance the endowment's activities each year. This generates a lasting and sustainable source of funding that is of great benefit to the University while simultaneously assuring donors the long-lasting legacy of their giving. Endowment gifts will be invested permanently and can therefore serve as a permanent tribute to the donor and extend the donor’s values for future generations.

NEED: $150 million in donations to grow the endowment and ensure excellence for UW-Eau Claire's future.
