Join the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, Alumni Association and Career Services for an evening of networking, dinner and conversation. Connect with other alumni and share your “life after college” experiences with current students!
What can you expect?
At Experience U, you will meet motivated students and other alumni who share your passion for UW-Eau Claire. As an alum, you will have an opportunity to o visit with multiple students from a variety of majors through a structured speed networking activity. You can answer questions and address concerns that students have about making the best of their time at UW-Eau Claire, preparing for the transition to life after college and starting their careers. This is also an opportunity for you to meet and network with other alumni!
There is no cost to attend this event, but registration is required as limited space is available.

Experience U is an excellent opportunity to give back to UW-Eau Claire by sharing your time, experiences and knowledge with today's students. You can help prepare the next generation of Blugold alumni to succeed at UW-Eau Claire and beyond.

Check in (4:30-5 p.m.)
Arrive at 4:30 p.m. to check in. Check in will take place outside of the Dakota Ballroom on the 3rd floor of the Davies Center.
Speed networking (5 p.m.)
Speed networking is designed to allow you to talk with multiple students in a structured setting. You will have an opportunity to speak briefly with students from a variety of majors. The goal for the speed networking session is to share your "life after college" wisdom with students while allowing them to practice their networking skills.
Dinner and keynote speaker (6-7 p.m.)
You will be seated with a mix of alumni and students, and have plenty time for conversation at your tables. The keynote presentation will begin around 6:30.
Social hour and conversation (7- 8 p.m.)
All are invited to join us after dinner for a cocktail hour and continued conversation. Wine, beer, soda and water will be provided.
About our Keynote Speaker
Kelli Quinn started working for Home Depot as a part-time cashier in 2002. Never anticipating it would turn into a professional career, she has since held roles of increasing responsibility such as manager and senior manager of staffing for the northern division, senior manager of learning execution for the northern division, senior manager learning strategy for store operations and supply chain, learning director for execution, solutions, and strategy. Kelli spent nearly two years as the director of learning delivery for Home Depot University, and is currently a director at The Home Depot in the Talent Acquisition department.
Kelli leads the design and implementation of highly effective, results-driven recruiting and hiring strategies to include a diverse, high-quality, world-class talent pipeline. She has a team of Senior Managers that lead all field Regional Recruiters and Senior Recruiters in the execution of the talent acquisition processes.
Having spent several years in the customer loyalty industry, Kelli’s presentation will cover best recruitment practices and activities, how to effectively build relationships, and how to empower a team to be customer-driven.
Kelli is a 1996 business management alum, and enjoys spending time with her family, staying active with recreation volleyball, softball, kickball, and tennis leagues. She continues to give back to her community with several charitable organizations.
