Local Blugold Scholarship

Proud to live here. Proud to learn here. Proud to invest here.

Encourage our local, high-achieving students to take a closer look at UW-Eau Claire by donating to the Local Blugold Scholarship. They can stay close, yet go far with unique opportunities for internships, study abroad, undergraduate research, service learning and cultural immersion. And attending UW-Eau Claire increases the odds students will live and work in the area after they graduate, contributing to the vitality of the Chippewa Valley.

The fact that Eau Claire was so helpful in offering financial aid ultimately drew me to stay here instead of going to the other universities I was accepted at. I am so grateful because it means that I can go to college with less anxiety about the impeding mountain of student debt. The Local Blugold Scholarship truly helped ease the worry of my family, so that I would not be dreading college and its expenses. Instead, I’m excited for its opportunities.
